A light bulb on a pull cord, shrunk to the size of your thumb: this mini keyring torch hangs on your keys and lights a dark keyhole. Give the tiny cord a pull and the bulb glows white.
Made for late arrivals, early starts and deep bags. What sets it apart:
- Lights a dark keyhole, car ignition or glove compartment when you get home late.
- Switches like a real light: pull the cord for on, pull again for off.
- Clips to keys, a bag strap or a zip with its snap hook carabiner.
- Weighs 16 g at 40 mm long, so it rides on a key ring unnoticed.
- Shines in black anodised aluminium with a frosted white bulb.
- Makes a gift people remember: a real light bulb, in miniature.
Without it you hold a phone torch in one hand and the keys in the other, with shopping bags on your arm.
A white LED sits under the frosted white globe, capped in black anodised aluminium where a real bulb has its screw thread. This keyring torch hangs from a snap hook carabiner, so it goes wherever your keys go.
It suits South African commuters who come home after dark, and it doubles as a handbag light for a deep bag or backpack.
Three L736F button cells fit in a body only 40 mm long. TROIKA designed it for small dark places: keyholes, cellar doors, office cabinets and ignitions.
Clip it to your car keys and leave it there. The next time you pull into a dark driveway in Durban or Pretoria, the gate lock is lit before you reach for your phone.
Something you use every day should keep working, and TROIKA has earned that reputation over its history.

That shows in the shiny anodised aluminium cap and the snap hook carabiner.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it bright enough to light a keyhole?
TROIKA describes it as a bright white LED made for close range. It lights a keyhole, an ignition or the inside of a bag, which is the job it was designed for.
Will it switch on by accident in my bag or pocket?
The only switch is the pull cord, so there is no button for other keys to press. It turns on or off when the cord is pulled.
What batteries does it take?
It runs on three L736F alkaline button cells. The type is in the specifications, so replacements are easy to match.
Can I use it as a keychain light?
Yes. The snap hook carabiner clips onto a key ring, so it works as a keychain light as well as a bag light. It clips to a bag strap or a zip too.
For someone who is forever hunting for keys at the gate, this mini light bulb is a small gift that earns its place on the key ring. It suits a Secret Santa, a thank-you for a colleague or a stocking filler, and it is used every day.
