Replacement Parts and Wearing Parts:
Please note that the gel pads will need to be replaced if they do not stick securely.

The Gel Pads are not Sticking to the Skin. What Should I Do?
Before each application, clean the skin and avoid using any skin cream or oils before treatment.
The Menstrual Relax has a function which detects whether the device is in contact with the body.
If there is not sufficient contact with the body, the device beeps and switches itself off.
If the device is attached to your body but still beeps, clean the gel pad and try starting the device again.
If after cleaning the gel pads the continuous beeping persists when the device is attached to your body, replace the gel pads.
If the adhesive capability of the gel pads decreases, and they do not stick securely to the skin, replace them immediately.
Do not use the Menstrual Relax again until the gel pads have been replaced.
Uneven adhesion of the gel pads could lead to skin lesions.
How to Clean the Gel Pads
Clean the adhesive surface of the gel pads with a damp, lint-free cloth.
NB: Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning.
Then let them air dry and attach them again.
Notes On Charging Your EM 50 Menstrual Relax
Note: Before using the device for the first time, let it charge for a minimum of 2 hours.
How to do this:
1. Open the cover of the USB-C connection on the Menstrual Relax.
2. Connect the EM 50 to the supplied USB charging cable and a compatible USB connection (output: max. 5V/2A).
NB: For efficient charging, the device requires that the charging cable is plugged into a 2 Amp / 2000 milliAmp (mA) power supply.
Most chargers are only 1 Amp/ 1000 mA. Charging via a 1 Amp charger means a much longer charging time and less battery time when in use. It is therefore advisable to recharge this device via a compatible USB adaptor plugged into mains power to ensure sufficient and optimal charging (refer to the product manual for specifications). Charging from laptops and other insufficient USB outputs may result in the device not charging properly, and in short operating times and inadequate heat and intensity.
3. Whilst charging, the battery level indicator LED flashes green. As soon as the Menstrual Relax has been completely charged, the LED battery level indicator will be continuously illuminated in green.
NB: You cannot use the Menstrual Relax while it is being charged. Make sure that there is no skin contact with the electrodes during the charging process.
